Oily Skin

Oily skin is a result of excessive oil production, a condition referred to as seborrhea. It is most apparent on your face and the top of your back, and is characterized by:

  • shiny complexion;
  • thick and dull skin;
  • enlarged pores;
  • numerous blackheads.

Skin can become oily for many reasons, including:

  • hormonal imbalances;
  • pollution;
  • periods of stress;
  • use of cosmetics that are too harsh.

As it ages, oily skin usually develops fewer, but deeper and more visible wrinkles.
